Erciyes Yag Sanayi A.S. started its activity in 1976, on 10.500 m2 closed, and 40.000 m2 total area. Subjects of production are margarine, industrial food plant fats and vegetable oils.
In 1998 Erciyes Yag Sanayi A.S. achieved the capacity of 35.000 tones margarine and vegetable oils per year as a result of new investments toward capacity increase.
The process system is consisting from continuous neutralization, bleaching, winterization, deodorization, hydrogenation and margarine production plants installed by De Smet, Belgium. Production and stock tanks are totally chrome-nickel made and production has been carried out under absolutely hygienic conditions according to principle of “Human Health First”. After capacity increase, investments to new machines and installations are continuing to lead us up to “to be the best” aim. Beside that there is one of the largest laboratories in this sector and the company collaborates with the universities about the new technological developments and supports research projects.

In this frame ERYAG developed GMP/GHP/GWP and HACCP rules in mean of Food Safety which were certified with TS EN 22000 Food Safety Management System (HACCP) and TS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System with zero error after inspection by Turkish Standard Institution (TSE) in 2006.
